The Kite Runner of Afghan

In the book The Kite Runner, Khalid Hosseini portrays family and the society which makes the reader visualize about friendship, good and bad, strength, being saved from evil and lots more.

The  Kite Runner tells the story of two best friends, Amir and  Hassan who are experts in flying kites lives in Afghanistan. Amir suceeds in winning a local kite flying competition by which he wins his father love.On that day he sees a view and does nothing to stop it and that remains a secret that belongs to him for the rest of his life. his friendship with Hassan gets affected with this and they broke.

Like the kites tangle in the sky, war comes to Afghanistan and the country becomes a place hardly to live.  Afghanistan was invaded by Russia. Hassan holding his secret moves to the US with his father.One day a phone call from Kabul makes him go back to his country which makes him realize a shocking secret about his past and he wants to make things go well and fine.

Hosseini give the reader a picture about the people culture and tradition of Afghanistan. He shows the way a beautiful country being destroyed by war, how happy couples being hanged to death, and when a man sell his artificial leg to feed his family and  what makes a kid dance like a monkey to entertain others.

The twist in the end is written showing the qualities that deserves that specific action while reading the reader feels a lot of emotions. Hosseini gives a vivid and engaging story that reminds us how long his people being struggled to achieve victory over the forces of war and violence, the forces that threatens them in every breathe they takes.
